Visiting the Humane Society

We spent the afternoon at the local humane society today. We went mainly to donate supplies on their wish list. We gave 18 rolls of paper towels, 3 boxes of dryer sheets, 3 bottles of laundry detergent, and 2 boxes of dog treats. It felt good! These pics are not in logical order because I'm posting from my phone and am not sure how to get them in the order I want!
And of course we had to visit with the dogs. We got a few of them out and played with them in their yard. Here's pics of our time with Hannah, a pit bull mix. She was so fun and full of energy. As Chad said, her favorite toy was whichever one happened to be in your hand!

All our stress from the day disappeared while we were there. Although we wanted to spend time with the dogs in hopes that they would benefit from it, I definitely can say it made our day. I think the dogs we visited with also appreciated the play time. :)
